Watercolor Studies: Botanical & Animal Illustrations
This collection features a range of watercolor illustrations—created as part of an ongoing sketch and concept development practice. These works include both traditional pieces on watercolor paper and select paintings on stretched canvas. Each one is part of a larger exploration into how organic forms, color, and brushwork can evolve into future applied design projects such as greeting cards, apparel, tarot decks, and illustrated prints.
Painted using watercolor and fine liner pens on cold-press paper, mixed-media paper, and occasionally canvas. Finished works are scanned or photographed, then digitally cleaned using Adobe Photoshop or Illustrator to prep for display or product-ready formatting.
These studies focus on gesture, softness, and natural storytelling—allowing me to experiment with texture and symbolism while refining a personal illustrative voice. They are used to test ideas for product design and narrative illustration formats.

Monstera + Aroid Studies: Created with surface pattern design and stationery in mind.
Woodland Creatures: Watercolor animals developed as gentle visual characters, ideal for narrative and print use.
Canvas Botanical Pieces: Looser explorations of form, positive & negative space, and pigment texture designed to stand on their own or be digitized later.

This body of work bridges physical media and future-forward design. Though initially created as part of my creative warm-up process, each painting contributes to a growing library of motifs that I revisit for client work, product development, and self-initiated illustration projects.
